#CUPofATL Goes Rogue: THE OVERALL COMPANY | Opelika, Alabama

One morning a month or so ago, I heard about a “secret” brunch event on the West side and a few friends and I decided to stop by. We were not disappointed with food, drinks….and The Overall Company coffee bar. After chatting with the founders for just a few minutes, I fell in love with their charm, appreciation of collaboration, and really good pour over coffee. They mentioned a Southern Revelry event they’d be having in a few weeks featuring local band Family & Friends and I told them I’d be there with bells on.

And, so CUP of ATL went rogue, road tripping 1.5 hours to Opelika, Alabama. Despite a torrential rainstorm, The Overall Company put on an incredible event, complete with local vendors and great music. Soaked to the bone, we laughed, drank coffee and whiskey tea, and made some pretty great memories.

#CUPofATL Rogue Trip #1 – 100% successful.

Here’s the (short) gist //

1001 Avenue B. | Opelika, AL | 36801

The Overall Coffee family originates from the Counter Culture family tree here in ATL and find beans that have been assigned the A rating on the Cup of Excellence Scale.

The experience of The Overall Company is a celebration of community. They use coffee to bring together local music, artists, entrepreneurs, foodies, and new friends. They also have their own Overall popsicles – all real fruit and handcrafted. If you want a destination coffee shop + concert, it’s well worth the trip.
