MAE’S BAKERY | buckhead

Mae’s Bakery is tucked away in the backwoods where North Druid Hills kisses Buckhead and it’s the perfect stop for some TLC. This little shop reminds me of my favorite café in Salamanca, Spain, with both excellent coffee and popart decor. And, I can always count on the good vibes from the baristas.

The Hours
M – F: 7 am – 7 pm | Sa – Su: 8 am – 7 pm

This sassy bunch caters Counter Culture Coffee of several varieties with both tradition and class. They also make all their own syrups in house, including a lovely lavender concoction that is truly divine.

Within this area of the city, Mae’s is a tiny oasis of the pure local coffeeshop. She also sends her baked good all over the city, known for their sweet goodness.

Beth, the mastermind of Mae’s Bakery, really outdoes herself with baked goods, including gluten free. Find your fancy in the shop window, or you can custom order.

mae 4Know Before You Go
Mae’s is typically quiet with little traffic during the day and the parking is plentiful in its shopping center location.

My Order
The lavender latter with soy milk and I must have a gluten free muffin. I will drive across the city for it.
